Before you reach out
Common questions
A few things people often wonder about before getting in touch. If your question isn't here, just ask.

How do I book a session?
Start by sending a message through the contact form or reaching out on Instagram or Facebook. We'll talk through what you're looking for, find a date that works, and go from there. No pressure — just a conversation.
What happens after I send an inquiry?
I'll reply within 24 hours (usually sooner). We'll have a quick conversation about your vision, timeline, and any questions you have. Once we agree on the details, I'll send over a simple booking form and a contract.
How many images will I receive?
It depends on the session type. Portrait sessions typically deliver 30–60 fully edited images. Commercial and product sessions are scoped to the project. I focus on quality over quantity — every image delivered is one I'm proud of.
How are photos delivered?
Through a private online gallery where you can download full-resolution files, share with friends and family, and order prints directly if you'd like. Gallery access is typically provided within two to three weeks of your session.
Can I edit or filter the photos myself?
You're welcome to use the images however you'd like for personal use. For commercial clients, I ask that the editing style remain consistent with the delivered files — heavy filters can affect the quality of the work and how your brand is represented.

Who owns the photos?
I retain the copyright as the photographer. Personal clients receive a license for personal use — printing, sharing, posting. Commercial clients receive a commercial use license scoped to the project. We can discuss extended licensing if needed.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes. I'm based in Port Angeles but travel regularly throughout the Olympic Peninsula and Pacific Northwest. For sessions outside the local area, a travel fee may apply depending on distance.
I run a small business. Can you help?
Absolutely. I work with local businesses on brand photography, product photography, and visual content for websites and social media. Reach out and tell me about your business — even a brief message is a great place to start.
I'm not sure what kind of session I want.
That's completely fine. Most people aren't sure at first. Send me a message with a general idea — what you're hoping to capture, what it's for, or just how you found me — and we'll figure it out from there.
What should I expect during a session?
Sessions are relaxed and conversational. I'll guide you through movement and positioning naturally — you don't need to know how to pose. We usually ease in gradually, and most people find it more comfortable than they expected.
